Subject: Nonlinear waves. More than 300 publications in international peer-reviewed journals. About 11.800 citations. Research areas:

• Nonlinear waves and solitons.
• Theory of condensed matter.
• Bose-Einstein condesates.
• Nonlinear optics and photonics.

 

Current Teaching Responsibilities

Supervising 1 doctoral thesis and 2 final year dissertation. Teaching the following classroom and laboratory courses:

• Ordinary Differential Equations (10 ΥΚΟ 14undergraduate classroom course).
• Mathematical Methods for Physics I (10 ΥΚΟ 15 undergraduate classroom course).
• Nonlinear Dynamical Systems(10 ΕΛΕ 06 postgraduate & undergraduate classroom course).

• Member of the Assembly of the Department of Physics.
• Member of the Undergraduate Studies Committee.
