• Laboratory Physics of the Earth's Solid Crust.
• Nanocomposites, heterogeneous granular materials, porous dielectrics.
• Dielectric spectroscopy.
• Condensed matter under extreme conditions, phase changes, quantum crystals, metallic hydrogen.
• High-pressure Physics and Technology.
• Functional nano-composite materials of new allotropic forms of carbon

 

Current Teaching Responsibilities

Supervising 2 doctoral degree theses and 1 postgraduate degree thesis. Teaching the following classroom and laboratory courses:

• Spectroscopic Methods for Materials Characterization (14104, postgraduate classroom course).
• Physics II (10YKO020 , undergraduate classroom course).
• Atomic and Molecular Physics (10 EΛΕ 01 undergraduate classromm course).
• Fundamental Physics Laboratory III: Heat-Waves-Optics (10ΥΚΟ07, undergraduate lab course).
• Condensed Matter Physics Laboratory (10 ΥΚ5 03, undergraduate classroom course).
